Choosing Your Wedding Songs

One of the last details you will need to attend to is choosing the songs that will be played at the church, choosing the song for your first dance at the reception and the song you want to play when you dance with your father. These may seem like small and insignificant details but they make a huge difference in how you remember your day for the rest of your life.

The songs in the church are generally easier to choose from because your church will more than likely have a list of popular used songs for your too choose from. Or if you are like some women you have already decided and know exactly what you want! Many women, if they have nothing else decided, always know what songs they want to play as they walk down the aisle.

Choosing your songs for the reception can be a bit more difficult because there are so many different love songs to choose from today. This is a detail that may not need to be taken care of until the wedding but it may be one you should be thinking about months in advance. It is a great idea to listen to your favorite love songs one by one and slowly narrow it down. It is even better for those couples who already have a song together and then their decision making is done!

There are usually the same songs played at weddings when it comes to the slow dance between the bride and the father and there is nothing wrong with that. Choose whichever song bests suits you and your father and this dance will be something you will both remember for the rest of your lives.

Take the time to choose your wedding songs carefully because they will be part of your wedding memories and the memories of others as well.
